How to Delete a Sales Order?

This guide will walk you through the simple process of deleting sales orders.

It is essential to know this function in case of order cancellations, postponements, or any other conditions that require deleting the sales order.

Sales order

A sales order is a document generated by the seller that contains details about the products or services ordered by the customer. It includes pricing, quantity, terms, conditions, and more information.

To delete a sales order, follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Select "Manage Sales" from the navbar and click on "Sales Orders."

Step 2: Navigate to the right to the "Actions" titled column by clicking on the arrow(as shown).

Step 3: Click on the "dotted" button given in front of every sales order within the "Actions" titled column.

Step 4: Select "Delete" to remove the desired "Sales Order" from the order list.

NOTE

1. The sales order will not delete if it is invoiced or marked as packed.

2. Packages can't be deleted if the customer or anyone marked them for return. Hence you have to manage returns first.
